Dan Orlowski
Professional
Dan Orlowski has over a decade of real estate experience finding great deals, rehabbing, renting, and selling properties. He has worked extensively with architects, contractors and zoning boards during the various stages of the development process, gaining valuable knowledge that he passes on to his clients.
Dan graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in economics, after which he moved to Nashville, Tennessee and was recruited by Fifth Third Bank to be a hybrid banker/financial advisor. There he excelled to be one of the top licensed bankers and spearheaded a financial education program that taught financial wellness at schools, clubs, churches, and more. While at Fifth Third Bank he saw an opportunity in the housing market, and he started a real estate investment company which bought and held long term rentals.
Eventually, Dan left Fifth Third Bank and the financial industry in order to return to Connecticut and run his family’s manufacturing company: J.F.D. Tube & Coil Products, Inc. Still at J.F.D. today, he oversees the accounting, human resources, and operations departments. Dan continues to grow his real estate company in Tennessee and recently expanded into development.
Personal
Dan lives in Southbury on the Pomperaug River with his girlfriend and their two Labrador retrievers, Charlie and Dixon. In his spare time, he volunteers for Junior Achievement USA, teaching high school seniors about financial wellness. Dan spends the hot summer days on Lake Zoar with friends and family: surfing, wakeboarding, and tubing. When the snow falls and he finishes shoveling his driveway, Dan heads to the mountains to snowboard. Dan loves the outdoors, but when he gets stuck inside, he breaks out his guitar and plays for Dixon and Charlie, who are serious country music fans.
